How to read odds
Odds are written in three familiar formats. The examples below make the difference clear.
Example 1 — the same price in three formats
Say the odds for Team A to win are written like this in different formats:

On a ৳1,000 bet, a win returns ৳3,000 (৳2,000 profit + original ৳1,000); a loss means ৳1,000 is gone. Team A and Team B are used as examples only — this is not the odds for any specific match or a guarantee of winning.
Example 2 — odds for the favourite
When Team B is the favourite, the odds are lower. Example:

On a ৳1,000 bet, a win returns ৳1,250 (৳250 profit). The profit is smaller on a favourite, but they are considered more likely to win.
